Turn Your Wounds Into Strength
Being strong.. everyday is utterly exhausting. I don’t always want to be stong.. sometimes I would rather crumble into nothing. The journey to “joy” is not telling someone it will be okay. It’s not telling someone to simply get over it. Sometimes what is needed is to sit in the sorrow.. to sit in the grief. To cry until the damn itself breaks. To let the darkness and pain out as you cry and break from release. Be someone’s light when it’s needed. Sit with them and be in the moment. Be their support when they can not be their own. Let them know that they are not alone ❤️🩹
It takes so much strength to carry our sorrow and our burdens. Yet, admitting when they are simply too much to carry seems like an impossible feat. Knowing when to ask for help is not weakness. Knowing when to stop is not weakness. It is honoring yourself and your soul, knowing when enough is enough. The last thing we ever need in this world is someone hanging by a thread. Someone who is barely holding on. Find your shelter. Stay for as long as you need to. It’s okay to rest for awhile, the world can wait.
