Turn Your Wounds Into Strength
It might be the little girl in me when i say, I want to be a light in the world that is hard and dark. I want my scars, my open wounds, and my story to help someone else in need. I want to enjoy life more and have less anxiety and sadness. I wish for rainbows, butterflies, and damn it unicorns too. I want help others get through their hardest days and strongest storms. I just want to be a light in such a dark and sad world.
I used to think getting older meant so many negative things. It’s amazing how getting older changes your viewpoints. It is such a jot to have the ability to grow older. How to celebrate each and every breath. Remembering the memories, the good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful. Growing wiser. Learning how to be kind. How to be brave. How to climb the mountain tops and how to enjoy the small hills. How to get through the rough patches and how to patch yourself up. How to simply enjoy the journey of life.
Dealing with grief cam be difficult.
Do you hold everything in?
Do you cry it out?
Do you act like you’re okay when you’re not?
Sometimes the easiest thing to do is just exist in the moment. It’s okay to be patient with yourself. It’s okay to mourn. It’s okay to cry. Remember to give yourself time. Time to breathe. Time to grieve. Time to just be.
