Turn Your Wounds Into Strength

Not all days will be easy. Some days will feel so exhausting that you can’t get anything accomplished. There will be days that you can’t get your mindset where you need it to be. These are the days when you are burnt out from trying every single minute of the day but never truly have the ability to rest.
Never belittle yourself when you need to take a day off to reset. You may not be able to accomplish everything on your list today, and it is truly okay if you don’t. Take your time to fuel your fire again, to remind yourself of life’s happiness. You were not created to go, go, go day in and day out. You were created with true purpose. Stop forcing yourself to simply just get through it.
Look after your well-being. Look after your mental health. This is what is most important.
You may be feeling a bit down, but always remember the best parts of your life haven’t happened yet. Things will get better! You still have growing left to do and lessons that need to be learned. Life will turn out to be such a beautiful sunrise and you will be in awe of its beauty. So do not give up! You have yet to experience the best moments of your life.
Start doing things that light your soul on fire. Start writing or journaling, inspire others. Learn to cook the meals you’ve been saving. Write the poetry you tell yourself daily. Draw your heart and passion onto paper. You are meant to show others and light up the world with what you are passionate about. Light up your own world with the fire inside you, it’s time.

Going through grief for the last 16 months has thought me a few things besides having a crazy wide range of emotions. I’ve learned that things don’t plan out the way that you want and eventually you just simply have to accept it. I’ve learned that things can go terribly wrong and you can’t just put your cape on and you can’t put it back together like a puzzle piece. One of the hardest things I’ve learned is that some things stay broken and can’t be put back together.
Through it all, do not keep waiting for the next bomb to drop on you. Look for the good in your life and those around you. The goodness in life will always surround you but you have to be open enough to see it’s beauty.
This is your Monday reminder.
It was a hard year. You had heard months. You had hard weeks. There were storms that you didn’t think you would conquer and get through. You lost your faith and found it again. You are an amazing human being. You make this world shine brighter because you’re in it. You have mountains to climb and storms to sail and get through. The world needs someone like you in it. Just keep hanging in there. You’re doing incredible.
