Life’s questions

Wouldn’t it be amazing if what we knew now, we knew when we were younger? Oh, how life would have been a little bit easier. Like how our faith can move mountains. Or even knowing that being loud and fighting doesn’t mean that it gave you strength. How healing takes time and work and not instantaneous because we want it. That love also means loving yourself through and through. That life will be hard, but the fight in you is unmeasurable. How would life have changed if we knew what we know now is incomprehensible. But would it have made you into the person you are now? Would it have given you the same strength that runs through your veins now? Would you be you?

Being kind to yourself

Be kind to yourself. Be good to your heart. There will be moments where others are not kind to you, so do not add to it. When your soul vibrates to life, listen and be still. Lay down what is heavy, and leave it where it lays. Do not pick up what heavy to carry, leave your burdens where they lay.

Where does faith start?

I have always wondered where faith starts. Does it start when we hit rock bottom? Does it start when we are in complete darkness? Does it wait till we are on our last breath? Or does it start when we we feel empty and alone? In my experience, faith comes when we start healing our open wounds. When the light inside of you can’t be extinguished. When the heart does not shatter. Faith is always close. It can sense you.

Overcoming

Do not become hardened. Do not become cold. Do not extinguish your own fire. Carry warmth where you go. Do not let your world go still. You will overcome this. Your strength will continue the fight. Find beauty in the chaos. Give yourself patience. Give yourself time. Give yourself permission to always try again.
