Shifting Through Life

As we go on through life we start to shift within our own being. We begin we realize that we are not the same person we used to be. The things we used tolerate have now become intolerable. Where we once remained quiet, we are now speaking up. Where we once argued and battled, we are now choosing to become silent. You are now beginning to understand your full value of your voice and understand that some situations no longer deserve your time and focus. As we shift remember that the change you are seeing is a step in the right direction and that you are evolving into a better version of yourself. 

Brutal Truths About Life

1) Materialistic possessions will not make you better than anyone else or make you happier in life.

2) You can’t make everyone happy. You will tire out your own soul trying accomplish this. Make yourself happy and spread that energy to others instead.

3) Trying to be perfect is not realistic or healthy. Being a better version of yourself  than the day before is what everyone should try to pursue.

4) Achievements and successes don’t matter more than the memories you will create in life while you’re on your death bed.

5) The more you find happiness in materialistic items or in the outside world, the more you will become lost in the journey. Happiness can not be found in the outside world but instead it is found within ourselves.

6) Actions will always speak louder than words. 

7) Live every moment to it’s full capacity. Treasure every moment because we don’t know when it will be our last. 

 

Walking Away

It is ok to walk away from people who bring harm to your heart and well being.

Walk away from arguments that lead to anger and will solve nothing.

Walk away from people who intentionally bring you down.

Walk away from pleasing people who will never see your true worth.

Walk away from any thoughts that that threaten your peace of mind.

Walk away from judgmental people who have no idea what you are truly going through and do not care to find out.

Walk away from your fears and mistakes, they do not determine your future.

The more you walk away from things and people that poison your soul, the healthier  your life will be.

It Will Work Out

Don’t let this world make you a bitter person. Don’t let the actions of other people make you cold on the inside. In a world of negativity be the light that shines through. Life will happen and certain things will hurt us but don’t let those things make you unkind to others or to yourself. It’s ok to be sad. It’s ok to cry. We’re human. We break. We make mistakes. But never let the pain and sadness run your life. Wake up in the morning with good intentions, be the sunshine. There will be days where you think you can’t go on, it’s ok. Breathe. Inhale. Exhale. We show weakness every now and then. Your weakness will eventually turn in to strength. 

It’s all about taking what life throws your way and learning from it.

The Little Things

We get so worried and wrapped up in trying to be happy that we end up missing out on happiness altogether. Stop waiting on a magical moment to happen and start enjoying the little moments of happiness that you can find. It’s those rainy days days curled up in a blanket reading a good book. It’s that feeling you get when you laugh too hard. It’s dancing in your room at 3am in the morning.

  It’s the little moments.

That’s what life is about.
