Light Your Fire

Start doing things that light your soul on fire. Start writing or journaling, inspire others. Learn to cook the meals you’ve been saving. Write the poetry you tell yourself daily. Draw your heart and passion onto paper. You are meant to show others and light up the world with what you are passionate about. Light up your own world with the fire inside you, it’s time.

Traveling Through Depression

Going through grief for the last 16 months has thought me a few things besides having a crazy wide range of emotions. I’ve learned that things don’t plan out the way that you want and eventually you just simply have to accept it. I’ve learned that things can go terribly wrong and you can’t just put your cape on and you can’t put it back together like a puzzle piece. One of the hardest things I’ve learned is that some things stay broken and can’t be put back together.

Through it all, do not keep waiting for the next bomb to drop on you. Look for the good in your life and those around you. The goodness in life will always surround you but you have to be open enough to see it’s beauty.

Your Reminder

This is your Monday reminder.

It was a hard year. You had heard months. You had hard weeks. There were storms that you didn’t think you would conquer and get through. You lost your faith and found it again. You are an amazing human being. You make this world shine brighter because you’re in it. You have mountains to climb and storms to sail and get through. The world needs someone like you in it. Just keep hanging in there. You’re doing incredible.

Cleaning Your Soul

Crying cleanses your palette. It’s okay to not even know why. Crying means you’ve been strong for too long and your soul is trying to tell you it’s time to rest. It’s okay to unpack the heavy baggage you’ve been carrying and to let it all out. Sometimes you can just be doing all the right things over and over again until you are worn out. Life will always work its way out, just have a little but of patience and faith.
