Turn Your Wounds Into Strength
There are times in our lives that we get to hear ” everything happens for a reason.” Sometimes we hear it when we don’t want to hear it all. For myself it was during the times of grief when I hear it the most and I could definitely tell you I did not want to hear it at all. Those were the times I was questioning ” why is this happening” “why now” “why at all”. I waited and waited like I was going to receive a sign from the Heavens above. I started to question what did I do in my past life to deserve the grief I was going through now. That’s when I hit the lowest of the low. I truly had to remember that things truly do happen in life and that I did nothing wrong. Sometimes life can be cruel and life can hurt but that doesn’t mean you or I deserved it. It doesn’t mean that the light won’t shine after the darkness again. The more that you heal and the more that you are willing* to heal the more you will see the good around you again. Always know that you deserve all the love and light around you, now matter what you are going through.
You were born with a kind soul and a soft heart. Do not think of it as a weakness in this hard and cruel world. The world needs more people like you in it. People that care for others. People with compassion. People with empathy. You may not be able to heal every person that comes your way but they will be able to feel your caring nature. You shine the light for others when all they may see is darkness. Do not let society change who you are. You are one of kind in this world. Continue to share your kind soul and soft heart with everyone you meet in your journey.

You don’t have to know what is coming next. You are not a fortune teller. You don’t have to know what is coming every second of everyday of your life. Do not add the stress to your life, you have enough. You are forever growing and changing daily, so ride the wave. So please be patient with yourself and put the crystal ball down. Enjoy the journey of life and the unknowing.
When life knocks you down, get back up. It doesn’t matter how long it takes you. It’s time to be happy on purpose. Stop looking for dark clouds and start looking for the sunshine. Stop waiting for the next bad thing to happen in your life and instead wait for the next best thing to happen. Start choosing to forgive yourself and others instead of holding onto anger and darkness. Life is not meant to lived in despair and sorrow. Yes, we will go through both of those things in life but it does not mean we have choose to stay there. Life is meant for all the small and big moments of love shared with one another.
