Anxiety we feel

It can be so hard to talk to loved ones or friends about the anxiety we feel. How do you explain to them that the feeling you feel is known to be irrational or implausible, yet you can not trust control it? They may feel that it is simple or easy to “turn it off” but already know that the anxiety we feel doesn’t care about logic.

The feeling of being imperfect or broken comes easy most days. Let me state this now, you are not these things that you feel. Do not feel shamed about how it appears to the world. Always remember that what you feel is valid.

You are doing the best that you can. Do not beat yourself up for expressing your emotions. It is going to be okay.

Ever evolving fairytale

Your fairytale may not be what you see now. The anxiety and fear you feel now will soon go away. Wait for the storm to settle. The pain or sorrow you feel now will fade. The horizon will be visible again. Ride out your waves of emotion until you find land again. Once your feet are grounded you will see the stars shine again. This where your fairytale continues.

Adult Struggles

We may not be where we want to be in life but it’s going to be okay. We all have different starting points but in the end we are meant to be where we are (even if we don’t agree!). This is just a temporary place in your journey, it doesn’t mean this is you forever.

Sometimes we get the feeling of giving up and that the struggle just isn’t worth it. One thing to remember is that the things we long for will not come easy for us. You are not a failure because it is taking you longer to get there. Stop comparing your pace to others, your journey is your own.

Remember, you are human. You don’t have to  figure out  your entire life overnight. Every effort you out forward is a step to where you want to be. So take it slow, don’t rush this process. Trust in yourself and in the universe, that something amazing is coming. Most importantly, trust that *you* have what it takes to get to your finish line.

It’s The Little Things

It’s always the little things we tend to ignore. The little things that we throw to the wayside that mean the most. For me, it’s slipping into the comfiest sweater and sweats on a cold day or that first sip coffee with the amazing smell. Lately, it’s sitting in the backyard and reading while the birds sing the most beautiful song.

These are the little things that will get you through those tough days. These are the little joys that can bring that ray of light back into your life. There is always something to be thankful for, you just have to look for the little things.

Finding Peace

Even if your mind is full of thoughts and emotions, you still have the opportunity to experience peace. Stop stressing out because you don’t have every faction of your life planned out. Stop stressing out that life is not going the way you had planned. If you were to think of where you were a year ago or even 3 years ago, you never imagined that you would be where you are today. In the middle of figuring out the struggles or hardships, find the time to settle down and feel peace. Feel peace within yourself and in the environment around you. You will always be more than your fears, now you just have to believe it.
