Turn Your Wounds Into Strength
You’ve been through so many things in your life that no one knows about. You have every experienced things that hurt you, changed you, challenged you, or even made your stronger. If someone judges you or talks negatively about what they see on the surface, remember everything you went through and survived. You have nothing to prove to anyone, you already proved them to yourself.
There are days where I just give in and I feel the day. I let my body feel whatever it wants to feel and give validation to myself. Sometimes there are things that are just to hard to fathom. These are definitely the days I take my cape off knowing it’s okay to rest. I focus more on the parts of life that are more quiet, more peaceful. Sometimes all you can do is just breathe but remember to give yourself grace of days like this.
I think it’s beautiful how you show up every day and give it your all. I think it’s beautiful how you have the courage to be strong even with the battles you don’t tell anyone about. You are amazing to keep fighting even when you feel weak. You are nothing short of courageous to see the light when all you see is darkness.
It can be so hard to talk to loved ones or friends about the anxiety we feel. How do you explain to them that the feeling you feel is known to be irrational or implausible, yet you can not trust control it? They may feel that it is simple or easy to “turn it off” but already know that the anxiety we feel doesn’t care about logic.
The feeling of being imperfect or broken comes easy most days. Let me state this now, you are not these things that you feel. Do not feel shamed about how it appears to the world. Always remember that what you feel is valid.
You are doing the best that you can. Do not beat yourself up for expressing your emotions. It is going to be okay.
