Finding places of peace

Even on the hardest days, there is always room to feel peace. It may not always be easy but it is still possible. Treasure the small things that mean the greatest to you. Do not dwindle on the worries and mysteries of life. Instead of trying to piece everything together, start finding places within the chaos. You will always be more than your anxiety and feelings of worry. Concentrate on finding your places of peace in the caves you find yourself in.

Do not run from yourself

Why do we always try to run from our failures, the darkest moments of our lives. You deserve to love your whole self without feeling hiding parts of you that you feel shouldn’t feel love. Those unpretty moments of our life’s are messy, and it can heavy. Do not see this as what you may feel, these are the parts of us that will be beautiful. How you may ask? Well let me explain, we can face sadness, grief, and sorrow and we still survived these moments. Accept your life. Accept these parts of you. This is your story to tell. This shaped you into the strong individual that you are. You can not unrun yourself. You are simply amazing throughout it all.

Cherish these people

Start telling people how much they mean to you. Tell them how much you appreciate them and how much you love them. Tell them how much your world would be without them. Tell them how much you are thankful to have them in your life. We get so caught up in life and with our routines that we forget to share these moments with the people that we love and care about. Take a moment out of your day and cherish the blessings up in front of you.

Finding Who You Are

Life as so much to teach you. You just have to be still to listen what it is trying to say. No, not like Mother Willow from Pocahontas but it holds the same concept. It starts with growing, the love you experience, the loss you will endure, and the healing to mend the wounds. It starts with life’s wonderful journey but also the darkness you will be surrounded by. The times you never gave up, the times you persevered through it all but also the times you threw in the towel and sat it out. All of this, your journey is what has made you, you. Never question your creation, never question who you are.

The blessing and curse

Being an empath can be amazing but it can also being so tiring. When storms arise you feel like you have to endure the powerful waves until the waters calm again. Half of you wants to take over the ship and steer it for them and the other half of you is willing to go down with the ship if you can’t. Feeling all the emotions at once can feel like a tornado in your soul. You feel what they feel. You let it soak deep within yourself. Helping others can give you the sense of feeling full yet, you are completely exhausted. Your soul is constantly in a whirlwind of emotions while you are trying to heal at the same time. Yet, you can’t seem to turn it off. It feels as though it is attached to you, it is you. Being an empath can surely feel like a blessing and a curse. How do you fit yourself in? How do you heal yourself at the same time? Always remember when it is time to take your cape off and disconnect. Be an empath into your own soul, listen to when it tells you it is time to rest. Do not be your own storm, let the calm waters rush in.
