Turn Your Wounds Into Strength
Just be in this moment. Be in the now. Stop worrying about what you have to do tomorrow. Stop stressing about what you still have to do days or weeks from now. Life will slip you by. Life will get away from you. Think about where you are now. Think about the blessings around you in this moment. Focus on the now. You have worked so hard to be in this moment. Look at the beauty around you, notice how beautiful it is.
Start choosing you. Start putting your happiness first. Start putting your peace ahead of pleasing others. Start doing what you always dreamed of doing. Do not let others dwindle your spark. Do not put out your fire to keep others warm. Start being your calming aura around you. It’s time to give yourself the same love you so freely give to others. It’s time to put yourself first.
Your attitude determines everything around you. How you handle the unexpected events in your life can all be changed by your attitude. When we go through dark and we choose to stay there, ask yourself why. Question your attitude more than the event that is happening. When we feel like life is drowning us, think about where your mind is. Think about where your emotions are.
It’s good to just take a pause in life, to be in the moment. Take a step back and think about what you have overcome. The struggles, grief, happiness, think of it all. The moments that you didn’t think you would get through but you did. The mountains that you didn’t think you could climb but you did. Life will always send us a curve ball but it can still be beautiful. Take time to just pause and look how far you have come.
