Being Beautifully Broken

We get the perception in life that we need to be perfect. Down to looking perfect, acting perfect, making it seem like life is perfect 365 days out the year. We were never meant to have perfection be our goal in life. The hardest part about life is to let yourself be flawed and allowing yourself to make mistakes. We have to recognize and accept that we’re not always going to have it together. We are going to go through tough times, be or feel broken, and feel pain. Don’t ever apologize for being broken. Every time we break a new part of us comes alive and shines through. We tend to become more open with ourselves. Every crack that appears tells us more about ourselves. Our strength, our courage, our inner light. Everything we are made of. Don’t hide this pieces of yourself from the world around you. The most beautiful people are broken. Their hearts may be heavy but they love the deepest. They have seen darkness but still appreciate everything that shines. They’re compassionate about life. They’re more understanding than most.

Beautiful hearts don’t just happen.

Show the world how beautiful you are.

Live For You

Sometimes in life we get so fixated on what we should be doing at certain ages. The most important aspect I have learned about life is NOT to be fixated on what society or our peers find  acceptable at each age. We feel so much pressure from it when we start to get hammered with it. We tend to feel like we have deadlines on our career, when to have children, down to our love life. We get so obsessed and fixated on having our crap together that we stop enjoying life altogether. It becomes sad that we get so obsessed about the future that we forget to live in the now. Who really cares about how much you have figured out in life? Go at your own pace and enjoy your own journey in life. You don’t start living until you stop comparing and caring about how others see you.

Just do you!

Self Happiness

Stop worrying about others understanding you or being worried about what they think of you. Get in touch with yourself instead, your true self. Start focusing on what makes your heart happy and what makes your soul feel peace. You are your biggest cheerleader so accept your flaws and imperfections. Accept your openness and vulnerability, your everything. Life tends to become easier and more fulfilling when you are simply yourself. The world will keep spinning whether people understand or like you, so why not like the next trip around the sun be about you?

Beauty In The Storm

It took me a very long time to figure out that life isn’t always going to go our way. That we may not always get what we want, when we want it. Understanding that life won’t always be a beautiful fairytale.

Not everyone we meet we will have a connection to. That they aren’t supposed to finish this chapter in life with us. Sometimes the people that come into our lives will teach us how to love and live life. Others might teach how not to love.

Some people will teach us how not to settle in life or be invisible to the world. Some may leave our lives and it’s okay. Each person we meet will always teach us a lesson, good or bad. These lessons is what we take with us in life. This is what helps shape our journey in life.

We have to find the beauty in each storm we go through until we see the sunrise again.

What Truly Humbles You

I have gone through life feeling like I’m on a roller coaster that never ends at times. When you feel as though the ride is over life seems to drop you yet again. Yet, the only thing that has always humbled me was time. Time seems to humble you in all the things you see and the things that you don’t see coming. Time gives you the opportunity to achieve what comes your way and also like those same opportunities fall. It will let you be center stage or let you blend in with the rest of the crowd.

Time will let you live the life you first ran away from and let you learn to dig deeper into what made you run away. It will let you learn to listen and love the hearts that walk among you on Earth. Most importantly time will teach you to see. It will teach you to listen and not always speak. It will teach you what truly matters and what doesn’t. When the end is really the beginning and when the end is truly the end.

We are going to go through it all, whether we want to or not. We’re going to feel like we have it all handled or that we are completely lost . Sometimes at the same time. Even with it all, time will still humble you throughout life. Time will never stop for us to get our shenanigans together but we go slow it down. To take time to breathe and simply humble and center ourselves again.
