What Truly Humbles You

I have gone through life feeling like I’m on a roller coaster that never ends at times. When you feel as though the ride is over life seems to drop you yet again. Yet, the only thing that has always humbled me was time. Time seems to humble you in all the things you see and the things that you don’t see coming. Time gives you the opportunity to achieve what comes your way and also like those same opportunities fall. It will let you be center stage or let you blend in with the rest of the crowd.

Time will let you live the life you first ran away from and let you learn to dig deeper into what made you run away. It will let you learn to listen and love the hearts that walk among you on Earth. Most importantly time will teach you to see. It will teach you to listen and not always speak. It will teach you what truly matters and what doesn’t. When the end is really the beginning and when the end is truly the end.

We are going to go through it all, whether we want to or not. We’re going to feel like we have it all handled or that we are completely lost . Sometimes at the same time. Even with it all, time will still humble you throughout life. Time will never stop for us to get our shenanigans together but we go slow it down. To take time to breathe and simply humble and center ourselves again.

Be The Person Who Simply Cares

Be the person who simply simply cares.

Be the person who makes effort when no one else does.

The person who bares it all and wears their heart on their sleeves.

The person who isn’t shy about showing their depths of their feelings or showing the depths of your hope.

Be the person who believes in the softness and good in the world, the goodness in other people. The one who who sees the beauty in trusting others and the hope of a better tomorrow.

Be the person who takes chances, be the one tho refuses to hide.

Be the person who makes people be seen, to feel wanted.

Be the person who who stays kind in the world who hasn’t been kind to you.

Simply be the person who simply cares.

Strength In Our Scars

I hope each and every one of you find acceptance. The kind of acceptance that you feel through your bones and the one the quiets the voice inside your head telling you that you’re not good enough. I hope you forgive yourself for the mistakes you may have made in your past or present. I hope you learn to let go of the attachments you had in order to heal and grow for the future.

You are doing your best, you are only human.

I hope you find the moments that take your breath away. The kind of moments that change you. The moments you feel in your soul and inner being. I hope you travel to places that cleanse you. To be able to feel alive inside again. I hope you connect to the world around you, even the littlest connections. Conversations that give new meaning to life. I hope you surround yourself with friends that help light your journey through life. The ones that are always there for you.

Most importantly I hope you find  yourself. Figuring out your heart and mind.

I hope you learn to be kind to yourself and the journey you are on.

Find the strength in your scars and find new hope in everyday.

Reacting To Things Around You

I’m slowly learning that no matter how I react, it won’t change anything. It won’t make people like me or even respect me.

Sometimes it better to just let things be.

Let people go.

Don’t fight for closure.

Don’t ask for explanations.

Don’t chase for answers or people for that matter.

I’m slowly learning that life is better lived when you don’t center your focus on it but center on what is happening inside of you instead.

Work on yourself and your inner peace before ever reacting to others.

Being Enough For Yourself

I have come to realize that if you are always there for others, your heart is rare. Everyone concentrates on themselves that we forget about those around us. Know that you give people hope and faith in a new tomorrow. Know that you make people feel wanted, that you help people be seen when they think they’re invisible. Know that you make others feel as though they have a purpose in life.

Here comes the shocker

Remind yourself that you are not invincible. Your heart and soul need rest. You need rest. Remind yourself that you do not have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. That you may not be able to heal and save everyone around you and knowing that it is OK.

Remind yourself that you deserve to put as much energy as you give to others and the world into yourself. Invest in yourself when it is needed. That you are worthy of the love you give to others. Remind yourself that you don’t always have to be strong, that you don’t always have to be the fixer. You can be a human and ask for help. You can take a break and take your cape off, take a step back, and nourish the softness instead of you.

Be enough for yourself even have to save yourself first.
