Turn Your Wounds Into Strength
We all have those moments where we just feel defeated. Defeated with life. Defeated with events in our life. Even just defeated with ourselves. It’s okay to just cry. Cry for yourself, cry for relief. I have found this therapeutic lately. Sometimes you don’t know why your crying and that’s okay. We can become tired of being strong for so long that we tend to lose who we are in the process.
I can say for myself, after losing my cousin who was like a brother to me it has been difficult to say the least. Faking to be “okay” or “happy” is beyond exhausting, especially when you feel like your drowning. I have learned so far that being tired is okay. It’s okay to not be okay. Life may not give you what you can handle or what you wished for but sooner or later things get better. At least this is what I’ve been telling myself. Find reasons to live life, to simply live. It may be difficult to continue or even just to breathe but keep fighting through.
One day you are going to be proud that you didn’t give up
Don’t give up yet
It can be difficult to stay positive and upbeat all the time. Sometimes even putting up the “front” like everything is okay can be just as tiring. Anything around you can add or change how you are feeling. People around you could be giving off negative vibes or nothing seems to be going just right in your life. Always remember that everyday that you fight you’re battle is leading you in the right direction. Keep fighting. Hold on to the positive and goodness of you’re heart. Do not let negativity take you down a different road, continue on your journey.
These hardships will not last forever.
Keep fighting your way through.

The darkest part of your life won’t last forever. No matter how impossible and dark it may seem, the light will shine again. The sleepless nights, exhausting days, the dragging of the hours. It won’t last forever. The darkest of nights will bring the rise of the sun again. The warmth, hope, and faith that come with it. Let go of the darkness that inhabited your heart and soul. Let the rise of the sun give you new hope today.

There are times where you may feel low or like your head is barely above water. Always remember what you currently feel is not your forever, it is not permanent. Let the valleys of your life lead you to the most beautiful view on the mountain top. This is not a permanent fixture in your life but instead leading you to bigger blessings. The light will shine again through the cloudiest of days. We all struggle and take on the world knowing we can not. Your struggles do not define you and it never will. Enjoy the beautiful view at the mountain top, new blessings are coming!

When times get dark and you can’t seem to find your way, remember that you are blessed. When you feel like the road that you are on is to hard to travel, remember that you are blessed. Although you may not see them, you are so so blessed. Focusing on your blessings does not take away the situation that you are in but it can remind you that in darkness, comes light. You remember that in your darkest of nights the stars will shine bright for you. When you feel like giving up, fight. Give it everything you have, keep walking until you reach sunshine.
